APA STYLE

Psychological Association (5th ed.). A synopsis of this manual is available from
the American Psychological society.
AUTHORS CAN ALSO USE THE FOLLOWING REFERENCE STYLE
REFERENCE STYLE
In Text—References are to be placed on separate numbered pages at the end of
the chapter. A reference is a direction to, or consultation of books, periodicals,
proceedings, etc., for information cited within text. When using a direct quote
from a title, it is necessary to cite the exact page number [1, p. 5]; it is plagiaristic
otherwise. Every reference is indicated numerically with each new reference listed
in ascending order (no op. cit. or ibid). When a previously cited reference is used
again, it keeps its original reference number. Reference numbers are to be enclosed
in brackets, i.e., [1], when more than one [1, 2] or [1-3].
In Listing—A compiled list of references which have been cited in text appear
in numerical sequence at the end of the article. No op. cit. or ibid. are allowed.

BIBLIOGRAPHY
A bibliography is an unnumbered, alphabetical list of publications relating to a
given subject, author/s, and not necessarily cited within text. Baywood format is
an alphabetized list of authors’ last names, followed by a comma and initial/s. The
balance of the entry is identical to the reference style above.
FOOTNOTES
Footnotes are notes placed at the foot of the page where cited. They give
information or commentary that, though related to the subject under discussion,
would interrupt the flow of the narrative/discussion. They should be brief; no
more than four lines, and not contain any full references. (Reference items
belong at the end of the article.) Footnotes are numbered with superior arabic
numbers; no parens or brackets.
COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT
Editors are responsible for all Warranty and Transfer of Copyright Agreement
from their contributors. When a paper emanates from or identifies a particular
institution, the author/editor is responsible for securing any necessary
authorization required by that institution prior to submitting the manuscript. The
author/editor is responsible for obtaining written permission of persons who can
be identified in the photographs submitted and for obtaining publisher and author
permission for the use of copyrighted materials, including illustrations,
photographs, and lengthy quotations. A copyright agreement is required by law
(Public Law 94-553) which states publishers must receive a signed copyright
agreement for all manuscript received.
